This Request for Proposals is an invitation from CAMLPR to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Development of Interactive 2-D Immersive Video Environments for Fields of Practice Assessments. Specifically, CAMLPR seeks proposals from qualified IT developers to create an interactive, 2-D, immersive assessment tool for the competencies required in the fields of MLT practice. This assessment tool is envisioned as a 2-D simulation of real-life MLT workspaces and challenges, emphasizing the recreation of the physical environment, equipment, and typical interactions and decision-making scenarios. Elements of gamification (challenges, feedback, and progression) should be incorporated into these environments to make the assessment a robust process of evaluation as well as an engaging and immersive experience. Each interactive module (scenario) should enable practitioners to demonstrate their problem-solving and decision-making skills in a controlled, yet realistic, context for each field of practice.
